An engineer (B.E) and MBA by qualification, he has close to a decade of experience in the fields of Real Estate, Construction and Hotels. He started his entrepreneurial journey at an early age of 22, and with his vision has transformed several areas from barren lands into residential hubs. Hygrevar Ventures is a sister concern (Plotting division) of Aakam Builders Pvt Ltd. www.aakam.in. Both the companies have been Transforming Real Estate into Real Assets for over a decade. The companies are headed by their founder and Managing Director Mr. C. Arun Chidambaram. A third generation entrepreneur hailing from a reputed business family from Trichy, having presence in Tea Estates, Hotels, Restaurants, Marriage Halls, Construction & Real Estate. He has over Two decades of experience in the above businesses. He did his schooling from the Prestigious "Lawrence School Lovedale" Ooty. Popularly called “The Ooty Convent" which gave him Pan India exposure.
He completed his engineering (BE) & LLB. An MBA (GOLD MEDALIST) from the prestigious Loyola Institute Of Business Administration (LIBA). He later got a scholarship to do his Masters in “Intergovernmental Policy negotiations” A study in Psychology, Mathematics, and World Politics, and passed with distinction from the world-renowned “London School of Economics & Political Science". This gave him a worldwide view and exposure. Dynamic, Lively, Hard Working, a never say no attitude and a sharp eye for detail are five prominent traits to best describe him.
He started his entrepreneurial journey at the early age of 22, right after completing his engineering. (Taking intermittent breaks to pursue his interests in academics). With his vision and the strong and efficient team he has built he has transformed several areas from barren lands into residential hubs. “Transforming Real Estate into Real Assets” A classic recent example for this would be Aakam Township Near Mahindra World City. From being barren lands 15 years back, now there are Residents from over 15 States in India who live in Aakam Township and work in the various companies in Mahindra World City. Intuition, vision, and ability to identify an upcoming area are his forte.
